The Pink Pacers have been working so hard over the past few months! We have gotten a solid head start on the planning for our upcoming 5K in September and it has been a blast! We are SHOCKED by how well it is going and we hope the momentum continues to go well! Many business and groups have come on board to join us in our hope to raise funds and awareness for the amazing Get REAL & HEEL program! We are going to be celebrating with these groups in May when we invite them to a Sponsor's Party to thank them for what they are doing for us and to allow them to see, first hand, the building where all the magic takes place!

We are humbled by the their response to our cause! On another note - Today we had so much fun Volunteering for the Wachovia Tar Heel 10 Miler and Fleet Feet Sports Carrboro 4+ miler! We had a blast! Endurance Magazine and Fleet Feet organize this event and it is so popular in the area. We were excited to either run or volunteer! It was a fantastic turnout and for a super fantastic cause. The benefactors for the event are Lineberger Cancer Center and The Chapel Hill Carrboro YMCA!
